Bird Garden, Flower market, and ladies market

We had a great time going to the bird garden and flower market and ladies market last Saturday.  Here are a few photos and little videos.

There were cages an cages and cages of birds to see.  They sell them, too.

They sold lots of live grasshoppers to feed to the birds, too!

We went with Elder and Sister Stevens who are a new couple who will be serving in the Hong Kong Temple.  Their home is in Springville, Utah, too.

Then we were off to go to the flower market.  (No that's not us!)

We always enjoy seeing Bonzai trees and wondering just how old they really are.

They also had a couple of Christmas stores there that we enjoyed walking through.

Aren't the roses gorgeous?

There were flowers everywhere but we just took a couple of photos.

We must have only gotten a little of the ladies outdoor market and no photos but it is just another outdoor market.

Aren't these beautiful flower vases, too?

Here are the flowers we brought home.  They are beautiful and very fragrant, too!

Some of the tall buildings have some beautiful Christmas lights on them now.

We thought we'd end the post with a little "taste of home."

If you read the print at the bottom of the carton, you will see that we came all the way to Hong Kong just to buy Gossner's milk from Logan, Utah.  Is that kind of ironic or what? We wonder if Gossners know their milk is sold in Hong Kong? Yes it is shelf milk and that is pretty much all that we buy to drink but our favorite is actually from Australia, though.

Here's a fun little video that you might have seen but it's worth seeing again, we think:
Good little Thanksgiving video
We hope you are all having enjoying some happy holidays these days, too!

Here's one more:
Thankful
